DOROTHY L. KORSZEN, President
Dorothy L. Korszen is a partner at the Farr Law Firm where she practices trust and estate, probate, and real property and corporate law in both Englewood and Punta Gorda offices. She is on the Board of the State College Foundation, chairs the Finance Committee at Englewood United Methodist Church, is Past Board Chair of the Gulf Coast Community Foundation of Venice and is active in the Englewood-Venice Business and Professional Women's Organization, the Englewood on the Gulf Women's Council of Realtors, and several other legal and community organizations.
Mrs. Korszen received her Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida in 1980, and then became a professional engineer registered in Florida. She received her Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, in 1988 from the University of Miami where she was a member of the Inter-American Law Review. After law school, Mrs. Korszen practiced environmental law in Miami with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, then in Milwaukee with Quarles & Brady, and later represented abused and neglected children as both a volunteer and a program attorney with the Guardian ad Litem program for the Twelfth Judicial Circuit. The Farr Law Firm, which was established in 1924, is a full service law firm.
