Burton M. Romanoff, President
Burton M. Romanoff is a member of the Business and Tax Law Practice Group with the law firm of Norton, Hammersley, Lopez & Skokos, P.A. His practice includes corporate, contract and business law transactions, including business formations and disputes, as well as tax planning and tax controversies.
Born in Washington, Pennsylvania, Burt graduated from Grove City College with a BA, Economics, in 2000. He then attended Florida State University College of Law and earned his JD in 2003 and earned his LL.M in Taxation from the University of Villanova.
Burt is a member of the Sarasota Count Bar Association, its Estate Planning and Probate and Business Law Sections, the Southwest Florida Estate Planning Council and is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court. He also serves on the boards of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Suncoast and the Glasser/Schoenbaum Human Services Center.
