The Docket
Through its award winning monthly newsletter, the SCBA keeps its members informed and entertained. Considered by members as an essential read, the newsletter includes articles written and edited by attorneys who are recognized authorities in their field. Round table discussions on legal “hot topics” have proved to be a favorite new feature. The Docket’s April Fool’s issue is known throughout the community for its good natured satire of local movers and shakers. A calendar of events, announcements, classified and display ads, section news, restaurant and movie reviews are also published. Taking on the look of a newspaper, The Docket is printed on newsprint and is 8 pages long.
Docket Flyers
Flyers can be used to advertise a service or business. They can be printed on white or colored paper, single or doubled sided in letter size format. New to The Docket this year is The Adjunct, an 11 x 17 insert that will include additional advertising and copy space.
Website
The redesign of the Sarasota County Bar Association’s website was completed on September 1, 2006. A new calendar page provides members with the most current information on upcoming events and meetings. Advertising opportunities are available and a new classified ad page has been added for job postings, office space, etc.
Pictorial Membership Directory
The 12th Judicial Circuit Bar Associations Membership Directory & Resource Guide provides members’ photos, business address, phone/fax numbers, E-mail address, areas of practice, board certifications, etc. The directory includes the members who belong to the Sarasota, Venice-Englewood, Manatee and DeSoto county bar associations.
