Sarasota County Bar Association

The SCBA's Young Lawyers Division involves lawyers with the community through its Law Week programs including Mock Trials at elementary schools, a Speech Contest, Law School for Laymen plus fund-raising for Teen Court, and Holidays in July for needy children.

Louis M. Ursini, III is an associate with Ruden, McClosky, Smith Schuster & Russell, P.A. and practices in the areas of commercial, real estate and probate litigation. He received his J.D. and Masters in Business Administration from Stetson University, College of Law and Stetson University, College of Graduate Studies in 2000. In 1996 Mr. Ursini received a Bachelors of Science with a Finance Major from the Universita Per Stranieri, Perugia, Italy.

Mr. Ursini serves on the Board of Governors, Young Lawyers Division, of The Florida Bar, 2006 – present and the Probate and Trust Litigation Committee, The Florida Bar, 2005-present. He was a member of the John Scheb American Inn of Court from 2003-2007, co-chair of the Diversity Committee of the Sarasota County Bar Association from 2005-2007 and has served on the SCBA YLD Board of directors since 2002.

His community activities include the Young Professionals Group, Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Sarasota and Sarasota Coalition of Inclusion and Diversity.
