Bryan S. Kessler

Sarasota County Bar Association, 2024-2025 President

 

Bryan S. Kessler has been practicing law in Venice, Florida, since 2013. He is a general practitioner with a focus on estate and trust litigation, real estate litigation, and tax controversy. He also handles appellate matters that have resulted in authored opinions, including creating precedent that confirmed the use of offers of judgments in small claims proceedings. Prior to moving to Sarasota County, Bryan was a law enforcement officer and earned his law degree, cum laude, from Florida Coastal School of Law, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida Graduate Tax Program. He is also an Eagle Scout with the Boys Scouts of America.

Bryan is involved in the legal profession as the chair of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee “A” and as a member of the standing committee for professionalism with the Florida Bar. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Shauna, and two children – Vaughan and Ellie.
