What is a Standard Listing? 

Membership includes a Standard Listing which will display -

• Photo 
• Name
• Phone
• E-mail Address
• Street Address
• Attorney Status (Active Practicing Attorney / Inactive Attorney / Retired Attorney)
• Florida Bar Number
• Florida Bar Date Admitted

What is an Enhanced Listing?

You have the option of purchasing a public Enhanced Listing for an additional yearly fee of $35.00 which includes all of the above plus - 

• Link to Your Website
• Law School
• Law Degree Date Received
• Practice Areas (over 300 to choose from and you may choose an unlimited number)
• Florida Board Certifications (over 25 to choose from and you may choose an unlimited number)
• Federal Court Admissions (over 10 to choose from and you may choose an unlimited number)
• Other Jurisdictions where licensed (choose from all 50 states and DC)
• Sections Membership (over 10 to choose from and you may choose an unlimited number)
• Divisions (South County and/or Young Lawyers Division)
• Languages (over 12 languages to choose from)
• Education/Experience (add a paragraph or more in your own words)
• Social/Volunteer Organizations (add a paragraph or more in your own words)

You have the option of displaying or hiding specific fields above from the public, as you see fit.

How Will the Public Find Me?  

The Public will click on the Find an Attorney homepage callout, or the Find an Attorney menu.

SCBA Attorney Directory Search Engine 

Visitors will land on the SCBA Attorney Directory search page.  There are several criteria from which to search from, as seen below. Clicking on Continue will result in attorneys who meet the selected criteria.

Is There a Separate Search for Attorneys in the Standard and Enhanced Listings?

When a visitor searches for an attorney, both the Standard Listings and the Enhanced Listings will appear in the results together.  This is especially true if no filters were selected other than Attorney Status (Active / Inactive / Retired).

However, if a search criteria such as Language = Spanish was entered in the search engine, only attorneys with the Enhanced Listing and Spanish will appear in the search results.

How Do I Purchase an Enhanced Listing?

There are three ways to purchase an Enhanced Listing.

1. You're joining as a new Member - Choose the Enhanced Listing option when registering.
   
   
2. You're renewing your membership within the renewal period. Memberships can be renewed any time within 60 days of expiration. During that time, you'll see the option to renew to an Enhanced Listing.
   
   
3. During your Membership term and it's not yet up for renewal. You'll purchase an Enhanced Listing in our online store for $35.00. Our staff will activate your Enhanced Listing Membership within 3 business days after purchase. Then you'll sign into your account and add the Enhanced Listing information to your profile.

Where Do I Enter My Enhanced Directory Information on the Website?

• Sign in to the website
• Click on Manage Profile (top of every screen)
• Click on Edit Bio
• Once your membership has been upgraded to an Enhanced Listing, you'll see the additional Enhanced Listing fields on the screen after clicking Edit Bio. 
• Fill in the field information
• Click Save Changes at the bottom of the screen

How Do I Display or Hide Specific Fields in My Profile? 

After you sign into the website and navigate to the Edit Bio (Edit My Member Profile) page, you'll see instructions at the top of that page for displaying or hiding fields by using the "lock" selector icon.

Note: Changes that you make to the Edit Bio screen will not appear in the Public SCBA Attorney Directory for 24-48 hours. Our database re-indexes this information once per 24-hour period.
