SCBA Sections

SCBA Sections are organized to give members an opportunity to interact with others practicing similar areas of law and to sponsor meetings and CLE programs. Click on a Section below to get more information.

The Alternative Dispute Resolution Section sponsors continuing legal education and training opportunities for ADA professionals.

The Appellate Practice Section is an organization committed to promoting excellence in Florida's state and federal appellate courts. Its members include certified and non-certified appellate lawyers and others interested in the appellate process. Through quality continuing legal education, the Section seeks to encourage collegiality and communication among members of the appellate bench and bar, as well as among appellate and non-appellate lawyers within the bar.

The Business Section provides educational and networking opportunities for business lawyers focusing on business and commercial transactions and working collaboratively with other sections in areas of overlapping interest and concern. The section meetings are typically held once a quarter and address topics of interest to business practitioners, most of which offer CLE credit as well. The section also co-hosts presentations with other sections from time to time.
